Location: Strandhill, Sligo. Pauline’s warm, welcoming clinic is easily accessible for buggies, car seats, and all the essentials parents bring along. This appointment can be an Online appointment. Please ensure you have stable internet connect and a quiet room for the duration of the consultation.
Online Consultations
Online consultations offer flexibility and convenience, but there are a few differences compared to in-person visits.
What Happens During the Consultation?
Before your online consultation, Pauline will have a phone call with you to explain how the session will work and what she’ll need from you.
Pauline will assess your baby’s position, latch, and suck using videos and photos.
If your baby breastfeeds or feeds during the consultation, it’s very helpful for assessing the situation.
Pauline will provide tailored information and guidance to help resolve your feeding issues and support you in reaching your nursing or feeding goals.
The session will be similar to a clinic visit, except I won’t be able to conduct an infant suck assessment or weigh your baby.
A tongue-tie may be identified, but it won’t be as reliable as a face-to-face assessment.
Post Consultation
Pauline will email you a detailed management plan and arrange a follow-up to check in on your progress. Some issues may be better suited to an in-person clinic visit, and Pauline will advise you if that’s the case.
Cost and Location
€105 for 90-minutes
